GTM Engineer
Growth - Remote - 3+ years - Ref SEM-2026-06
Part engineer, part growth operator: someone who can write code and thinks in pipeline. You would build the systems that find, qualify and route demand - enrichment pipelines, outbound tooling, attribution that actually reconciles - for us and for clients who need the same thing.
This role is fully remote. There is no office and no hybrid arrangement: Semark works remotely everywhere. You can be based in any of the countries we hire from, and we work across time zones rather than expecting you to move.
What you will do
Build enrichment and scoring pipelines that turn a list into a prioritized one
Automate outbound and lifecycle sequences, including the parts that need a script rather than a template
Instrument attribution so that a claim about where revenue came from can be checked
Integrate CRM, analytics and billing so numbers reconcile instead of three dashboards disagreeing
Use LLMs where they genuinely help - research, qualification, summarization - and not where they do not
What we are looking for
Three or more years in a role where you both wrote code and owned a revenue number
Strong Python or TypeScript, and comfort with APIs and webhooks as a daily tool
You understand a funnel well enough to know which number is lying
Practical CRM experience, not just having seen one
You can explain a technical decision to somebody in sales without condescending
Nice to have
Genuinely optional. Nobody has all of these, and not having them has never stopped us hiring someone.
Data warehouse and SQL modelling
Paid acquisition experience
Having built an internal tool that a sales team actually adopted
What you would work with
Pay
Pay is flexible and set against your location and experience. We tell you the range on the first call.
How hiring works
Send your CV through the form. The two short questions are optional, and we do read them.
If your experience fits the role, whoever leads that team gets in touch. We are a small team and only reach out when there is a fit, so no reply means it was not one this time.
A 30-minute call with whoever leads that team. No panel and no brain teasers.
A short practical exercise drawn from real work.
A decision after the exercise, either way. Anyone who puts that much in hears back from us.
