Social Media Intern

Learn how a small agency gets noticed, by doing it rather than reading about it. You would work alongside whoever owns our channels, with your own pieces of work instead of a queue of reposts, and your suggestions get taken seriously enough to be argued with.
This role is fully remote. There is no office and no hybrid arrangement: Semark works remotely everywhere. You can be based in any of the countries we hire from, and we work across time zones rather than expecting you to move.
What you will do
Draft and schedule posts for LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook
Research what similar companies are publishing and write up what is working for them
Keep our profiles on Clutch, GoodFirms and similar directories accurate and complete
Bring us things we should be doing differently, and say why
Track what happened after we posted, and tell us plainly when the answer is nothing
What we are looking for
You write clearly in English
You use at least one of these platforms properly rather than only scrolling it
You can look at another company page and say something useful about it
You ask when you are stuck rather than going quiet for three days
A set number of hours a week that we agree before you start, and that you keep to
Nice to have
Genuinely optional. Nobody has all of these, and not having them has never stopped us hiring someone.
Coursework or a personal project in marketing
Any video editing, however basic
